WINEMAKER DINNER:
Fabulous wines paired by the winemaker with epicurean delights prepared by a world class chef set the stage for a delightful evening at the Cedar Gables Inn.

COOKING CLASS:
First start with a delightful menu from a top notch chef who helps you prepare the meal, get-your-hands-messy fun while sipping Napa Valley wines. The class size is small and intimate, with no more than 8 participants. Next, sprinkle in the fact that you will be staying and dining in one of the most romantic B&B's in Napa and you have the makings for an experience you will treasure for years. Upscale Wines will be paired with each course. Once the dinner is prepared, you and your guests grab your glasses of wine and retire to the elegant dining room, set with fine china, Riedel glassware, and exquisite linens. The Cedar Gables Inn staff takes over from there and serves each course of your wine pairing dinner.

Classes start at 4:00pm and the dinner starts around 7:00pm. The price for a class is $125.00. Spouses or friends staying at the inn are welcome to join us for the dinner at a cost of $100.00 each, space is limited. Class participants will receive hands-on instruction, printed recipes, wine with the dinner, and a Cedar Gables Inn apron.

His vision is to help you bring together friends and family with food and spirits. Through fun and educational hands-on cooking classes, he will demystify home cooking and entertaining. Chef MikeC. will slice and dice his way into your kitchen. At the Cedar Gables our focus is on high quality seasonal ingredients, minimal preparation, maximum flavor, and zero stress. Armed with the tips, tricks and techniques learned from Chef MikeC. in our kitchen, you'll be on fire in your own kitchen making the most fabulous meals of your life.
• Jill Prescott will inspire you with possibilities as you embrace the history, passion, quality, and tradition of French cuisine. Jill considers it her greatest gift to be able to share her craft with the utmost dedication to quality, the highest standards, the finest products and ingredients and the meticulous methods from which undeniable culinary perfection is created.
The Jill Prescott Culinary Events at the Cedar Gables Inn are a tribute to the experiences and traditions passed down to Jill by fellow chefs, mentors and artisan food producers she has encountered on her vast culinary journey. Her respect and admiration for how her dear friends, these artisans, love and honor their crafts is the maxim upon which her programs are built.
When you step into a Jill Prescott class at the Cedar Gables Inn, you will experience first hand the atmosphere, quality, techniques and ambiance found in the prestigious culinary schools of France.
• Throughout her career Maria DeCorpo has worked in many capacities in the food and wine industry, from Executive Chef to wine buyer and restaurant manager and now as a Chef/Instructor at Santa Rosa Junior College. A graduate of the Culinary Institute of America at Hyde Park, she is the owner of Fat Cat Culinary, an enterprise that offers culinary education in the form of private cooking instruction and cooking demonstrations at the Cedar Gables Inn as well as custom recipe development for wineries and local food producers for use in their marketing programs.
• Linda Carucci is an award-winning culinary teacher, author, professional chef and culinary consultant with 20 years of professional culinary arts experience. She received the Cooking Teacher of the Year Award of Excellence from the International Association of Culinary Professionals (IACP) in April 2002. Linda was selected by Women Chefs and Restaurateurs (WCR) for a November 2002 internship with Lidia Bastianich, winner of the 2002 James Beard Award for Best Chef in the United States.
Linda Carucci's has a large following for her cooking classes at the Cedar Gables Inn, professional tastings and nationally broadcast PBS television series Cooking at the Academy. She is about to release her new book “Cooking School Secrets for Real World Cooks”-finalist for the James Beard Cookbook award. She will autograph a copy for you at her next Cedar Gables Inn class.
