Getting to the Napa Valley Wine Train
The Napa Valley Wine Train Station is located in downtown Napa, just off Soscol Avenue and First Street.
Getting Here Via Car
Directions from San Francisco
Follow the signs that lead to the Bay Bridge and cross the Bay Bridge. After crossing the bridge, continue on I-80 North, headed towards Sacramento. Stay on the freeway. When you cross the Carquinez Bridge and pay a toll, this means your exit is close. Exit Napa/Columbus Parkway (exit #33). Follow CA-37 West to Highway 29. Turn right heading North on Hwy 29. Exit Napa/Lake Berryessa. This road becomes Soscol Ave in Napa. Continue on Soscol Ave. Turn right on First Street, then turn left of McKinstry Street.

Rail and Bus
This works only on weekdays. One way price is $4 for BART and $15 for Amtrak as of June 2008.
Starting from the Embarcadero Station in San Francisco, board the 8:51 train bound for Richmond. Transfer to Eastbound Amtrak Capitol Corridor train 526 in Richmond (station code RIC) at 9:37. This train arrives 10:02 at Martinez atation. Then board the Amtrak bus number 6511 bound for NPW (Napa Wine Train Station Bus Stop). The 6511 Bus is scheduled to depart at 10:20 arrive at 11:05am, which is 25 minutes before our lunch train leaves. If the bus is delayed, please call right away, as we will sometimes hold the train for slightly late arrivals. |
